    Denkanikottai or Denkanikotta is a panchayat town in Krishnagiri district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Denkanikottai is located at 1231'11"N 7746'48"E. It is situated on the south-western extreme of the Deccan plateau, east of the western ghats. The forest area of Denkanikottai forms the prime elephant habitat in the district. It has dry but pleasant weather conditions throughout the year. It is 3000 feet above from the sea level.

    Anekal is located towards south of Bangalore in Karnataka. Being a Taluk head quarters, it is around 35 kms from Bangalore. On NH-7 from Bangalore take right turn at Chandapur to reach Anekal. It is surrounded by Tamilnadus hosur Taluk towards east, Hoskote Taluk, Kanakpura taluk towards west, Bangalore east taluk towards north, Tamilnadus Denkanikottai & hosur

    Taluks towards south. Situated 2064 to 3118 ft above sea level, with very good climate conditions of temperature 15c to 33c. humidity of 63% to 83%. Average rainfall is 814.5 mm
