    Are exit interviews applicable to all employees in an organization?

    (Answer by Raju Swamy in Linkedin.com) 1. Definitely to 'Star' employees whose exit is unexpected, and who are playing a critical role in the organization. 2. To all employees who have spent a minimum of 3 years in the organization, with an acceptable level of achievement. 3. The reason to filter is to remove the perception that an 'Exit Interview' is a routine job to be got over with. 4. A true Exit Interview needs to be done by a skilled person to evoke accurate responses of value to the organization. A majority of employees exiting an organization will like to leave with some polite remarks, on expected lines, to routine interviewers.
