The Arab American Club of Knoxville presents a Middle Eastern Evening featuring Dinner, Music, and Dancing with Amin Sultan and His Band and Alexia and Her Dance Ensemble Knoxville Convention Center February 28, 2004 of of d Background ‘The Arab American Club of Knoxville is a charitable, social and educational organization committed to enhanc- ing our community. Like most all of us who inhabit this region, we are immigrants or descendants of immigrants. We are a di- verse membership that trices its evolution from the Arab World to Southern Appalachia, We are of Egyptian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian heritage, and more. We are, for the most part, Christians and Muslims. Like many others who have come to be here, we have brought our traditions, been influenced, and have influ enced. And like most people living in our area, it’s great to be a Tennessee Vol! In establishing. the Arab American club of Knoxville we seek to provide a bridye of heritage to our members while advancing cultural under wnding, (© our community. The Arab-American Club of Knoxville is proud to present our Fourth Annual Gala, This evening allows us to share with you the flavors of the Middle Bast and take you on a journey into our cultural heritage. I would like to thank our entire community for contributing to the success of this evening and would like (o express our gratitude to those individuals and businesses that made this event possible, It is through events stich as this that we are able to support our charitable activities and donations.
