TASK 1: First Draft of the Introduction

Being able to have emotions is what makes us human. To be alive is to feel joy, sadness, pain, anger, fear, or contentment. Aside from a person's emotional dimension is his aspect of being a social creature. For this reason, effective communication of our emotions is a vital part of our interactions with other people. We are able to express our emotions through the use of verbal and non-verbal displays. In this research, we are going to describe how these emotions are expressed in the two kinds of displays and to determine the interrelationship between these two. Specifically, it is aimed to achieve the following objectives: 1. To identify the ways by which emotions are communicated verbally and non-verbally, 2. To know the advantages and limitations in utilizing either of the two displays; 3. To distinguish the interrelationship of the two displays with regards to effective communication of emotion.
