Language Policy

English is the official medium of instruction. To create an

English environment, morning assemblies are conducted
in English. A wide variety of English activities are
organized.

Teacher Qualification

All teachers are professionally trained and all language

teachers are benchmarked. These include a
Native-speaking English teacher (NET) and a
Native-speaking Putonghua teacher.
About 30% have Master Degrees.

In 2007, Red Cross Cadet Unit Visited the HKLSS Martha

Boss Lutheran Day Activity Centre and serve those in need
there.

These photos were taken while we had our service

project. It was our annual highlight. The project was
planned and run by ourselves. The client this year are
those mentally retarded at HKLSS Martha Boss
Lutheran Day Activity Centre.
The experience of serving the mentally retarded is
rare. From this unusual experience, we know more
about them. They always need more concern from the
society. We had a great time playing some games with
them. We enjoyed the time being together. There was
time for them to show their creativity by designing an
Easter egg. Meanwhile, we chatted with them and
knew more about their life. Through this project, we got
a chance to have interaction with the mentally retarded.
We can also learn how to communicate with them. This
is a fruitful experience for us because it is an occasion
to broaden our horizons.
