This was accomplished through techniques such as folding, scaling, interlocking to produce spacial interpenetration, rotation, and mirroring, The manipulation of the plan happened ina scale 1/2 the ‘original, and ideas borrowed from Arcology were Implemented throughout the processes of transformation {and translation. Arcological principles applied included miniaturization and veticalization; the interconnection of residential, commercial, and service spaces; the integration of horticulture and agriculture; and, indirectly, Tellhard's Omega Point as an inspirational device. "Modular units that resulted from these processes became part of afield, which was further developed into ‘a community setting that tries to bring people together ina vertical city, provide the most basic necessities of lfe in the most expedient form, and above al, establish a new order of living n a suburb. Objectives ‘To propose adensified version of a Mies Courtyard House Plan thats critical of suburbia, and that provides a possible alternative house-type or dwelling through Arcological principles. To create a community froma field generator, still applying Arcological principles inthe process. 3
