I have worked for vons/Safway since March 1988, and held the following positions : Checkers helper(bagging groceries,helping

customers etc. Grocery manager (Running a crew of up to 12 people,executing marketing plans,wri tting orders on handheld gun, and merchandising. Front end Manager(In charged of Point of sale operations,Running a crew of up to 20 people,handling customers issues,and handling large amounts af cash. Assistant Store manager(In charged of the entire store operations, with weekly s ales of up to $600,000 and up to 100 employees; also in charged of forscasting s ales, writing work schedules and analizing reports such as sales reports,merchan dise recieved vs sold reports, P&l reports and conducting bi-annual inventories. In addition I have mentored and developed several employees to become superviso rs and store managers. I also ran a vons store for 2 months as an acting store manager (sales volume $2 00,000) I have completed several training and developing classes within the Safeway corp oration, some of these trainings are: Food safety handling cerification( Certified to run a restaurant) Retail management certification( All training required to run a retail facility) Employees relations as well as customer relations( How to handle eployees and cu stomers issues) After working with people for 22 years, I have developed different ways to inter act and handle people's problems in a professional and successful manner.
