Baluran BSEd-English II Topic: Cause and Effect Activity: Cause and Effect Memory Game

1. Prepare bond papers, pen and scissors. These are the things needed for the activity. 2. Recall the learners' knowledge about Cause and Effect. Make sure they are familiar with the lesson so that the activity will be continuous and no learner will be embarrassed because he/she doesn't remember the lesson. 3. Ask the learner to think of experiences that they have been exposed to these past few days. After, let them divide the bond papers lengthwise by folding it. Write the word 'cause' on the left and the word 'effect' on the right. 4. Let the learners write the cause of their experiences on the left side of the paper and on the right side, the effect. Make sure the statements isn't too long. 5. After there is enough cause-effect tandem in the bond papers, cut the tandem and place them in separate containers. Make them familiarize the tandems beforehand. 6. Divide the class into two groups. 7. The facilitator must be in front. He/she will put the 'cause' papers in front and the first two members will run in front and will try to find the 'effect' paper corresponding to the cause. 8. The first person to find the tandem will have the score. This will continue until the last member of the group is the done. 9. The group who gets the highest point is the winner. Prizes may also be given if available.
