    The Angus Fog Nozzle is a low velocity water spray nozzle that produces very fine water droplets between 4-8 bar of pressure. It is designed to combat fires in low flashpoint, non water-miscible fluids by cooling and smothering the burning vapors with steam. However, it is generally not suitable for exposed installations due to susceptibility to wind.     The ANGUS FOGNOZL is a low velocity waterspray nozzle. A spray of very fine droplet size is produced by a series of impinging jets at the nozzle exit. To achieve the required water droplet size the FOGNOZL should be used with a water pressure in the range of 4 to 8 bar. The FOGNOZL is designed primarily to combat fires in low flashpoint, non water-miscible fluids, by cooling and smothering (by production of steam) the burning fluid vapour. The FOGNOZL is generally not suitable for exposed installations as low velocity sprays are inherently susceptible to windage.
