Skills Competencies Can comfortably read and speak language used by in common with the majority of personnel in the tourism enterprise. Approval following an interview with a panel comprised of members ominated by the GSTC Accreditation Panel. Able to apply knowledge of tourism in an audit situation in a consistent and systematic manner. Demonstrated by being approved following an audit witnessed by an auditor approved by the GSTC Accreditation Panel for this task. Able to apply knowledge of social issues to tourism enterprises in an audit situation in a consistent and systematic manner. Demonstrated by being approved following an audit witnessed by an auditor approved by the GSTC Accreditation Panel for this task. Language is one of first language(s) spoken in the home; or Formal qualification of at least four years at high school; or Post high school level qualification; or Lived in country using language for minimum of one year. Minimum of a)Five audits of a tourism provider to a GSTC recognized standard acting as auditor under a qualified team leader. And b) Three audits of a tourism provider to a GSTC recognized acting as trainee team leader under the supervision of a qualified team leader. Each audit shall be a minimum of one full day on site, and shall cover all activities between opening and closing meetings.
ATL 6
Worked in tourism industry for minimum of five years, with two of these in a position of responsibility. Must have one years experience in each of the tourism activity scopes claimed (see section 3.1)
