TACH 815/ACHB 704 1.

For mercies, countless as the sands, Which daily I receive From Jesus, my Redeemers hands, My soul, what canst thou give?

2. Alas, from such a heart as mine, What can I bring Him forth? My best is stained and dyed with sin, My all is nothing worth.

3. Yet this acknowledgment Ill make For all He has bestowed, Salvations sacred cup Ill take. And call upon my God.

4. The best return for one like me, So wretched and so poor, Is from His gift to draw a plea, And ask Him still for more.

5. I cannot serve Him as I ought , Now works have I to boast; Yet would I glory in the thought That I shall owe Him most. Amen

HYMN NO.2 O GOD OUR HELP IN AGES PAST 1. O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.

2. Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; Sufficient is thine arm alone, And our defence is sure.

3. Before the hills in order stood, Or earth received her frame, From everlasting Thou art God, To endless years to come.

4. A thousand ages in Thy sight Are like an evening gone; Short as the watch that ends the night Before the rising sun.

5. Time, like an ever-rolling sream, Bears all its sons away; They fly forgotten, as a dream Dies at the opening day.

6. O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Be Thou our guard while troubles last And our eternal home.

IMMORTAL INVISIBLE GOD ONLY WISE

1.Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.

Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might; thy justice like mountains high soaring above thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

To all, life thou givest, to both great and small; in all life thou livest, the true life of all; we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, and wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

Thou reignest in glory; thou dwellest in light; thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight; all laud we would render: O help us to see 'tis only the splendor of light hideth thee.
