4. Identify and describe non-standard varieties of spoken English in


Malaysia. (2.1) Synopsis This course focuses on sound patterns and pronunciation in the English language, components relating to the production of sounds and skills necessary to define, describe and transcribe consonants, vowels, diphthongs and suprasegmental features such as stress, intonation and rhythm, and variation in accent. Kursus ini memberi fokus pada bentuk bunyi dan sebutan dalam bahasa Inggeris, komponen yang berkaitan dengan penghasilan bunyi dan kemahiran yang diperlukan untuk mendefinisi, menerang dan membuat transkripsi huruf konsonan, vokal, diftong dan ciri-ciri suprasegmental seperti tekanan, intonasi dan rima, dan variasi dalam sebutan.
