Attention
NOTE: CITPAK 5.10 is now PA-DSS certified by PCI/SSC for Ruby-Only and Ruby/Sapphire/Topaz configurations. It is required that you print or download the latest copy of PA-DSS Implementation Guide from the VeriFone Portal > Connect > Petro Downloads > Ruby > CITPAK. Also, you MUST review the guide with the merchant and leave a copy with the merchant. NOTE: This is a major release. It is very IMPORTANT that you carefully read the entire document before attempting the software installation.
This version requires re-imaging the HPV-20 with the latest version provided. If proceeded without re-imaging HPV-20, the installation may have unpredictable results. The latest versions can be found in the Minimum Requirements section and the Important Information section. NOTE: If the Cashier Tracking Report is used at a Sapphire site, the Cashier Tracking Overlay v1.00.01 is required on the HPV-20. This is not required for Ruby-Only sites. Also, SMS must be installed in custom mode which has the option Allow configuration under Sapphire Report Navigator (SRN). If this is not chosen during installation, then the Report Preferences option in SRN will be greyed out. As a result, SRN generates an incorrect Cashier Tracking Report.
If a site installs application software that includes GSD v2.0 and, for some reason, finds it necessary to downgrade, there are specific steps that must be followed to downgrade the firmware, diagnostic kernel, and the OS on the Sapphire and Topaz. Any VASC needing to downgrade from GSD to a version that does not include GSD must call the VeriFone Technical Support Center to be guided through the process.
Beginning July 1, 2008, a column will be added to the Lab delivery Schedule. Release Notes will begin to include the GSD version on the front page in the versions section.
As new GSD versions become available, additional information will be provided to the VeriFone Technical Support Center regarding any new issues with installation and/or revert processes.

The POS terminal will now process reversed transactions in fallback for reversed transactions per authorization requirements.
Fusion Point
The default settings for Fusion Point have been updated.
System
Gemstall
The Gemstall option GE_VSAT has been changed to HUGHES_VSAT.

Previously, the collects for CITGO fleet refund transaction in fallback mode were not sent to the network. This was corrected. 4. This was corrected and the limit in the PDL will be used. 5. Previously, the receipt displayed the 3-digit Julian date followed by three zeros for the authorization number for CITGO fleet refund transactions approved by the POS in fallback mode. This was corrected and now the 3-digit Julian date followed by the 3-digit fallback sequence number displays on the receipt. 6. Previously, the auth_src was not set to 'T' for sale transactions approved locally in fallback mode. This was corrected. 7. Previously, a new sequence number was not generated for the Approval Code when a sale transaction was approved locally in fallback mode. This was corrected. 8. Previously, the DCR limit for the MasterCard Fleet with the BIN range, 556700 through 556999, was not being updated when the PDL was received. This was corrected. 9. This was corrected. 2. Previously, the fee description did not print on Ruby receipts. This was corrected. 3. Previously, the Ruby workstation receipt for a debit refund transaction displayed Trans Type as SALE instead of REFUND. This was corrected.
-6-

Previously, the Ruby bootfixed when there was a fast credit prepay transaction attempted on a pump without a DCR. This was corrected. 3. Previously, a bad card swipe for a prepaid card displayed Enter Secure I.D.? on the Ruby terminal. This was corrected and now CARD DATA ERROR or CARD ABORTED displays.
Topaz Network
1. Previously, when a voice-authorized approval number was entered for a CITGO fleet refund, the transaction remained on the Topaz display. This was corrected. 2. Previously, when a CITGO fleet card approval number began with a zero, the Topaz rejected it. This was corrected.

1. Previously, a valid driver's license scanned on the Topaz was not accepted. This was corrected. 2. Previously, Mannatec refund transactions on the Topaz were rejected by the network. This was corrected. 3. Previously, a manual fuel refund on Topaz displayed NULL for fuel information on the display as well as the receipt. This was corrected. 4. Occasionally, the Topaz fuel buttons did not reflect the changes in the pump status and due sales. This was corrected. 5. Previously, if the fast credit pre-authorization information was deleted on the Newpro that was initiated on the Topaz, it caused an unsettled fast credit transaction. This was corrected. 6. Previously, fractional quantity was not being applied to the first item in a sales transaction on the Topaz. This was corrected.

Per CITGOs request, the default in this version is to print the signature line for all cards for all amounts. It can be changed not to print a signature line by changing the signature amount values to $25 in the card table by calling the VeriFone Technical Support Center.

The UpTime Backup, Restore, and Revert menus have been removed from the HPV-20 to meet PA-DSS requirements. 4. Application and database scripts are only executed if invoked by user 'topaz'. The installation now continues if an option code is not entered for a set time limit.
2. Previously, the same overlay message was used for both password entry and error message display. This was corrected and now both instances use separate message overlays. 3. Previously, when MX800 Series PINpad was connected to the Topaz, the default idle prompt displayed WELCOME TO VERIFONE instead of WELCOME. This was corrected. 4. Occasionally, when the Topaz terminal played an audio event, it continued to play and appeared to be locked up. This was corrected. 5. Previously, if the encryption service was disabled on NewPro when the authorization was received from the network, the account number, expiration date, and cardholder's name was not encrypted, and the Topaz did not clear the corresponding fields from the transaction before it was stored in the database. When prompted, replace any Ruby Card and reboot the workstation Ruby terminal. NOTE: If an update of your operating system is required, the Ruby terminal prompts for confirmation and automatically updates the system. The system then reboots the Ruby terminal as necessary. When the update has been completed successfully, the system reboots, and the updated version displays. 10. If there are other workstation Ruby terminals on the site, repeat steps 7, 8, and 9 for every other workstation.
