Initially they use each other yet as the begin to become close and share problems she becomes part of the gang and accustomed to life The relationship develops, but she has to complete and initiation where she mugs someone who turns out to be her ex-friend

    Act 3 Resolution - Antonia gets pregnant with boyfriend from the gang - Antonia and boyfriend decide to stay together and leave the gang despite threats from previous members
