What is NGO???
A non-governmental organization (NGO) is any non-profit, voluntary citizens' group which is organized on a local, national or international level.

Purpose of NGOs
The object and purpose of NGOs are different from business organisations. These organisations do not intend to earn profits. The purpose of NGOs are is to serve a particular section of society, public at large or its members only.

The area of operation of NGOs are Education Healthcare Involves in rehabilitation activities incase of natural calamities. Supports the development of infrastructure.

NGOs are non- profitable organization the intention of this organization is not to earn profit.

Dedicated personnel/ volunteers . Good networking. Flexible and independent.

Acceptable to the community

Weakness
Dependent on volunteers. Lack funds. Way of doing things.

Organizing public awareness campaigns and conducting education on specific health issues
Talks, public forum, exhibitions, walks, runs, etc.
