WHAT PROGRESS HAVE YOU MADE TOWARD THE COMPLETION OF THE PLAN? Individual Goal: All students will be at instructional level or above on fluency for spring BRI. Almost all students have shown increases in their fluency. The students that have not shown increases, are the ones at the frustrational level.

WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING? The students who have fluency scores at the frustrational level were placed in a reading pull out group to practice fluency (Title 1) at the beginning of the year. I need to check to make sure that is what they are specifically working on.

WHAT IMPACT IS THIS LEARNING HAVING ON YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS? All students should be working on fluency, especially since this is a particularly slow group. (Many at instructional or frustrational level for wpm, few at independent.) Fluency expectations continue to increase throughout the year. I have incorporated a 25 minute fluency practice every morning, during Title 1. So if they are not in Title 1, or it is a day that they do not go, they will still be receiving fluency practice. We have 4 rotations every day, which are 5 minutes each. Stations vary, addressing different aspects of fluency; word accuracy, rate, expression, phrasing, etc. Students continue to track their progress with fluency probes.
