Checklist for writing Formal Emails

clear subject in the subject box polite greeting- Dear Khun, Mr. or Ms. introduce yourself- name, student, school, class, include the reason for the email no abbreviations; shortened words clear, simple and to the point proper words; formal language (use polite manners)- may I, would you, could you, might you, request, inquire use correct grammar, spelling and full sentences use punctuation and paragraphs- full stops, question marks use a thank you sentence at the end polite sign-off- Best regards, Yours sincerely, Kinds regards, Warm regards, With great respect your full name show the email to a TEACHER BEFORE YOU SEND When you send your message CC your teacher
