    Acceleration class program is a program to shorten duration of study at school, it means that students of acceleration class program are the students with high intellectual intelligence. The acceleration class students have better academic ability than the regular students, but, in fact, having good academic ability doesnt mean that they have good social intelligence too. Social intelligence is about understanding and become sensitive of feeling, motivation, and character to understand the others to gain a good relationship by acting wisely in a mutual human relationship. The purpose of this research is to describe the social intelligence of acceleration students of Senior High school 1 Semarang and Senior high School 3 Semarang. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive method with population is whole acceleration students of Senior high School 1 Semarang and Senior high School 3 Semarang year 2010/2011. The samples of this research are 39 students using population study, analysis data using descriptive percentage. Result of the research shows in general that social intelligence of the acceleration students is in medium category. Aspect of social intelligence also indicates medium category, they are social sensitivity aspect, social insight, and social communication. Acceleration students have average ability to understand others and to acting wisely, in other words, the acceleration students have average social intelligence. From this research, the acceleration students are expected to have both good academic ability and good social intelligence, so that they could overcome future challenge. Success is not only about intellectual ability, but also how someone makes a god relationship with others.
