    To offset the impact of the extreme volatility in the foreign exchange market, Malaysia has pegged its Ringgit to the US dollar and has proposed for the use of the Gold Dinar for international trade settlement. i. Critically comment the rationale and success of the pegged exchange rate policy and its suitability to the current economic environment.

    ii. Give your comment on the proposed implementation of the Gold Dinar. Submission date : 21st FEBRUARY 2012 (Wednesday)
