E Conclusion

Students should summarize the findings of the fieldwork investigation. There should be a clear, concise statement answering the fieldwork question. It is acceptable for the conclusion to state that the findings do not match the students preliminary judgment or prediction. The suggested length of this section for work appropriate to criterion E is approximately 200 words.

F Evaluation

Students should review their investigative methodology, including methods of collecting primary information. Within this, they should consider any factors that may have affected the validity of the data, including personal bias and unpredicted external circumstances such as the weather. Students should suggest specific and plausible ways in which the study might have been improved and could be extended in the future. The most important part of the rubric is the part that says that the conclusion is consistent with the analysis. Your final answer to the research question should be supported by what you write in your analysis of the data. Dont analyze the data and then say something totally different in your conclusion. 2. You are almost guaranteed 2 marks as long as you clearly state your answer to the research question! Make it obvious what the answer is. Example: The oyster industry is affected to a very large degree or The oyster industry is not affected very much at all 3. For the evaluation, this is your chance to tell me all the bad things about this fieldwork. Where did it fail? What didnt work? Butif you bash me, you must tell me how this could have been improved, and those solutions must be realistic.
