Artificial Intelligence (or AI for short) is the study of mental processes, or intelligence of machines through the use of computational models. It is an extensive branch of computer science and hi-tech machinery. AI is used for doing things that humans cant normally do, including exploring the human visual system, which is how the brain sees things. It explored it by finding a new way for the brain to spot the difference easily, by generating different shapes. It can also be used for motion and navigation such as in robots, and GPS systems. AI can be split into several branches: common sense, planning and genetic programming. However, researches say that AI-based computers still cannot outrun the intelligence of the human mind. Currently, many scientists are trying to create a computer as good as the human mind.
