The bill goes much further, permitting ISPs to funnel private communications and related information back to the government without adequate privacy protections and controls. The bill does not specify which agencies ISPs could disclose customer data to If the government wants your data, it just needs to claim that it got it for "cybersecurity purposes" and then it can do pretty much whatever it wants.

This bill could be highly abused by ISPs selling your information to advertisers, employers, or anyone who would want it and had the money

Should personal privacy be sacrificed for national security? Are we becoming a police state governed by suspicion?

I believe I can use this to make a news article about the dangers of CISPA

This seems awfully like the Patriot Act enacted by the Bush administration after the Sept. 11 attacks

Is it right that all it takes is a reasonable suspicion of someone to deny their right to privacy?
