ANGLES

by: Maddie Comeau

Corresponding Angles:
If a transversal intersects two parallel lines, then corresponding angles are congruent.

ALTERNATE INTERIOR ANGLES

If a transversal intersects two parallel lines, then alternate interior angles are congruent.

Alternate Exterior Angles

If a transversal intersects two parallel lines, then alternate exterior angles are congruent.

SAME-SIDE INTERIOR ANGLES

If a transversal intersects two parallel lines, then same-side interior angles are supplementary

Adjacent Angles

Angles that have one side in common.

Vertical Angles

Two angles whose sides are opposite rays.

LINEAR PAIR

If two angles form a pair, then they are supplementary.

Parallel Lines

Coplanar lines that do no intersect.

Perpendicular Lines

Lines that intersect to form a right angle.

Skew Lines

Noncoplanar lines that are not parallel, and do no intersect.
