APPLICATION UNDER THE RTI ACT: INFORMATION ON


ACTION TAKEN ON COMPLAINTS SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNOR

1. Please refer the following documents:

1.1. Complaint to the Governor dated 16 Feb 2002- strike by government employees
unconstitutional in a democracy
1.2. Complaint to the Governor dated 31 Mar 2003- minister using official car with
false registration number
1.3. Petition to the Governor dated 7/8/07 by Veteran Colonel N R Kurup on Kerala
State Information Commission (KSIC)
1.4. My petition to the Governor dated 7 Nov 2007, 4 Jan 2008 and 28 Mar 2008
against KSIC
1.5. Petition to the Governor submitted on 12 Oct 2008 by activists of Save Right
to Information Campaign against KSIC and
1.6. My fax of 2/12/08 seeking personal audience with the Governor

2. Please provide information on action taken on the above complaints. Also


provide
certified copies of the file notings in each of the above cases.

3. Please confirm if Sec 4(b) of the RTI Act has been complied with and what is
the procedure for inspecting those documents. Kindly provide they URL of the site
where this information has been published.

4. In cases where the complaints have been sent to the concerned departments/
organizations for ‘necessary action and disposal’ at their end, please provide
information that justifies the expenditure of crores of rupees of the exchequer
for maintaining such a large secretariat and associated facilities when the job of
transferring documents from one addressee to another is being done fairly
satisfactorily by our post offices at a fraction of the cost.

5. A court fee stamp of Rs 10/- is affixed herewith towards the prescribed fee.
