Faiths Connected Foundation organizes an event where volunteers from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and Sikh communities

in the Birmingham area will prepare and share food which has a special significance for their religious backgrounds. The food will be shared not only among the volunteers and participants in the project, but would also be offered to the members of the public. The volunteers would, along the food, distribute small flyers about the significance of the food they are offering for a particular faith. The flyers will explain what in a certain religious tradition is allowed and forbidden to eat and why. In this way, members of our neighbourhood will come together to socialize, eat freshly prepared food and learn about different religious customs related to the food and social interactions. When: 5th of May (from 3 - 5 pm) Where: All Saints Centre Kings Heath, B14 7RA Who: Faiths Connected Foundation
