    The automatic ramp is folded up and down automatically, driven by a special ramp actuator motor. The manual ramp, in contrast to the automatic ramp, does not fold up but is folding down by gravity when the platform is lifting. When folded down the ramp stands out over the platform level by 10cm in order to prevent rolling over the edge with a wheelchair. When the platform is lowering, the ramp, by means of 2 rolls at the outer edge of the ramp, is opening by itself. Optional the Liftboy can also be placed in a pit (necessary pit depth is 100 or 120mm). In that case no access ramp is needed if the gap between the pit side wall and the platform is minor. Safety curtain is a folding curtain that covers the lifting shear construction under the platform. The standard colour is RAL 7035 the liftboy can be produced in any special RAL colour. Side Access allows to exit/enter the platform from the upper level from the left or right side. External control stations are optional. Those will be connected by a cable to the Liftboy and can be placed at the upper and/or lower landing. If the liftboy is used as a mobile unit (if used at different locations) an external control station is not recommended! The standard execution is with a handset control on a spiral cable only. A wheel assembly system can be used in case frequent transportation of the Liftboy is necessary. Otherwise, as its weight is between 50 and 70 kg, the Liftboy can be carried by 2 people without mayor effort. There are no on-site modifications necessary in order to install the lift.
