PHYSICAL AND BODY DEVELOPMENT

1.0 Introduction Physical development of children is an important development and the changes to the physical one that includes physical growth in terms of changes in body size and head, body content, the growth of teeth and bones as well as in terms of motor skills gross motor and fine motor and controlling right or left hand dominant.

2.0 Physical Growth Physical growth of development and changes in the physical part of your weight, height, head circumference and arm, the ratio of the body: legs, body fat, bone and teeth growth.

2.1 Weight
Weight children have increased rapidly in the early stages of a child. But when a child has passed this stage, the growth rate became progressively slower. Weight increases of 2.5kilograms (5 pounds) per year from age 2 years to puberty. Changes in the rate of weight is at least as children aged between 2 to 3 years and then increases gradually before reaching adolescence. However, the weight of girls is less heavy than boys the same age.

2.2 The height of the body


Rate of increase in height of children at the age of two years of decreases of between 11 to 12.5cm (4.5 to 5 inches) or 24%when compared with the body height at birth increased the height from birth to age 5 months with an increase of 30% . But to his knowledge, most children aged 2 years had about half the height when they become adults.
