Objective
A rewarding career as Music Educator in the Public Education System. The continued dissemination of knowledge, skills, patience, discipline and passion that music can bring to students lives. Due to my many years of equal development of my singing voice, guitar playing and the teaching of both disciplines, I have the rare distinction of being equally qualified to teach both vocal and instrumental based music.

Experience
The Delbarton School, Morristown, NJ April 2006 - Present

Music Teacher: Responsibilities include teaching private music lessons on guitar, bass, voice and piano. Developing students skills in ear training, music theory, music history and appreciation while enhancing comprehensive musicianship in an enjoyable, rewarding and memorable way. - Rock Band Ensemble founder and facilitator: While at Delbarton I started a Rock Band club. This group is designed to foster good ensemble playing technique in a genre of music that is very accessible and relevant to school aged children: Pop and Rock. This group also fosters democratic practices and social skills due to my curriculum, in which each student takes an active role in the groups mission, repertoire and direction. Private Music Lesson Instructor (self employed) 1997 - Present

I began giving private music lessons during my undergraduate career and continued during my first postgraduate foray in the business world. I regularly teach an average of 30 40 students per week, on voice and guitar. My reliability, accepting nature, constant requests to meet high standards and drive to inject lessons with humor have kept many students returning and referring friends and neighbors.
