El costo unitario de almacenaje en un perodo es $2. La capacidad de produccin durante los cinco perodos es de: Mes Enero x1 Febrero x2 Marzo x3 Abril x4 Mayo x5 Total Ejercicio 2.
A furniture manufacturer has three plants, which need 500, 700, and 600 tons of lumber weekly. The manufacturer may purchase the lumber from three lumber companies. The first two lumber manufacturers virtually have unlimited supply, and because of other commitments the third manufacturer cannot ship more than 500 tons weekly. The first lumber manufacturer uses rail for transportation and there is no limit on the tonnage that can be shipped to the furniture facilities. On the other hand, the last two lumber companies use trucks that limit the maximum tonnage that can be shipped to any of the furniture companies to 200 tons. The following table gives the transportation cost from the lumber companies to the furniture manufacturers ($ per ton).

Alfredo tiene $2.200 para invertir durante los siguientes 5 aos. Al principio de cada ao puede invertir su dinero en depsitos a plazo fijo de 1 2 aos. El banco paga el 8% de inters en depsitos a plazo fijo de un ao y el 17% (total) en depsitos a plazo fijo de 2 aos. Adems, al principio del segundo ao de inversin, el banco ofrecer certificados a tres aos. Estos certificados tendrn una ganancia del 27% (total). Si Alfredo reinvierte su dinero disponible cada ao. Plantee este problema en forma de P.L. para maximizar sus ganancias totales al final del quinto ao.
