Md Mamunur Rashid is a faculty member of Bangladesh Institute of
Management (BIM) from 16 February,2004. Prior to joining BIM, he was
with Jamuna Fertilizer Company Limited of BCIC , Tarakandi, Jamalpur. He
worked there for 7 years. He obtained the followings degree: a bachelor
degree in Mechanical Engineering (1993) from RUET, a M.Sc in
Mechanical Engineering (1996) degree from BUET, a MBA degree (2004)
from Bangladesh Open University. He also completed the followings
diploma: a diploma in computer science and application from Bangladesh
Open University, a PGD in HRM from IPM and a PGD in Marketing
Management from BIM. Mr. Rashid is a Ph. D in Finance Engineering
Management candidate at the IPE, Department, BUET, Dhaka since April
2004.He completed five theory courses in Ph. D level, these are
:Management Accounting, Maintenance and Safety Management,
Information Technology in Business, Project management and Technology
Management.
He was trained in the Singapore ( Mehatronics System Technology for 3
weeks) and Hyderabad(TQM and ISO for 8 weeks) , India. He worked as a
National Science and Technology Fellow, MOSICT, GOB about 1 and ½ Yrs.
He attended at international conferences at Nepal and Gowhati, India as
an IEB delegates. He published 10 papers in national/international
proceedings. He is an adjunct faculty at private universities of BUBT,
IBAISU, DIU, Darul Ihsan University and BOU, Dhaka. Mr. Rashid is a
member of the Institute of Engineers of Bangladesh, Bangladesh
Computer Society, Bangladesh Society of Mechanical Engineers and
IPM,REOSA, BUETAA and BSTD. As a trainer, he has made presentations at
these prestigious institutions and different NGOs. Mr. Rashid has handled
training assignments ranging from HRM, Improving Productivity through
Creativity, Project management and CPM using MS Project-2007,
Productivity and Competitiveness ,Productivity Improvement Techniques ,
Safety, Health and welfare Management , Operations Management and
TQM and ISO , IT in Management, and Marketing Management etc.
