Tal and greetings, Hidden deep in the rainforest's & jungles of the Uschendi & Tathassa ridge, accessible only by the small river-ways branching from the lost Uschendi lakes river, is the region of Tathassa which the Uschendi Bena Jahesa Tribe of Taluna's call home. WHO ARE WE? BENA JAHESA TALUNA: The Taluna tribe lives FREE in the jungles of Schendi Off the Tathassa ridge and hidden on the island of the Lost city of ruins of Explorers of Gor . Free of not only the slave chains, but also the invisible chains that bind Free Women in traditional Gorean society. We reject the precept of male dominance. While we honor Gorean customs and traditions, the tribe takes the liberty to make certain changes in these for the protection and betterment of our tribe. Our tribe's name, Bena Jahesa Taluna, means "Island of women" in the inland dialect of Uschendi. It holds true to Our pledge to fiercely protect Our freedom, Our Sisterhood, Our slaves and Our home with the honor and loyalty of a Taluna of the jungles of Gor. We exist in the time of the book Explorers of Gor, when the Taluna had taken the ruins from the mamba of the jungles ruins, Now many years have passed and the ruins are being retaken by the jungle. there are NO MAMBA HERE ANY LONGER. Tathassa is open to all guests and visitors who are 18 years of age and older, and who are likeminded and enjoy and respect RP based on the Gorean novels by John Norman. We are open to

all. We do not discriminate. NO GAY BASHING - GLBT allowed sim - Sex race or sexual deviation slanders will NOT be tolerated. No discriminatory behavior will be tolerated and may result in a 24 hour ban, 3 day ban or perm banning if not controlled. Tathassa is a human-based role play sim. You must be in human form to participate in RP. No advanced technology, electricity, lasers, airplanes etc will be allowed. This is not a building sandbox. Please do not treat it as such or you will be asked to leave or banned. The sky market is a safe zone, RP area only, NO Combat area at all times. The Landing point on the docks is safe for the first 10 minutes. Once you leave the small deck you are considered in Full RP unless in the RP Only area directly off the docks & is considered a SAFE ZONE. RP captures in that area, will be honored with proper RP. Role play is HIGHLY encouraged before shooting. If you open fire from any point while in the safe zone, you are to expect to be fired back on and will void any SAFE ZONE guidelines after that. Running into that area during combat will not make you safe. Dont expect it to. The only legal way to enter and exit the sim is the boat with the teleporter ONLY. There are no exceptions. Do not auto hot key an exit - It must be typed out wit hat least 10 words and it may be requested as proof if your TP out is questioned. Please do not take offense or abuse the MOD's when it is requested of you. NO RAID Quotas One hour rescue - HOWEVER if we cap you and you go AFK for 15 minutes - we will add that time to your rescue time. Expect it ! COMBAT. The Gorean Meter is the only approved combat meter for Tathassa. Make sure you are wearing the latest version before entering RP.. Combat meters must be worn at all times. Please do not reset your meter during raids or combat without the approval of a Mod. not in battle. We can call an off-sim MOD if requested. All emotes are 10 words or more pertaining to TP out. TPing out of combat will result in a 3 day ban from the sim. Aiding is allowed in 3 emotes. Self unbinding is permitted with at least 3 emotes. Aiding is permitted with a 3 post aid to your fellow comrades. VALID captures are considered to have at least 2 emotes of binding, 2 disarming emotes, 1 leashing emote. TARNS ARE ACCEPTED, No racing tarns on sim. 5 lines 10 words are more for self- unbinding. Binding, 2 ropes - 1 for leash= 3 / Remove weapons seen and unseen but be specific in RP descriptions. MERC's have a RATIO of 2 to 1 for Raids --- TALUNA Have no RATIO raid rule. ( yes ZERO) TALUNA & PANTHER are NOT Allies!!! - You may be shot or killed in combat for being caught within the ruins if not invited. TALUNA & MERCS have a hostile co-existence. The JUNGLES ARE OPEN HUNTING GROUNDS. Visitors may go OOC ONLY IN THE JUNGLE - These groups live on sim & NOONE is allowed in another's home uninvited. NO OOC CHAT IN OPEN CHAT - EVEN MODS WILL BE IN IM WHEN MODDING If you are in prior combat and re-enter OR enter the RP only zone - Your are NOT safe from combat.

The RP only area has no time limit. All are welcome to use it but must stay IC on sim at all times. CAPTURE/ESCAPES... Sheaths do not have to be worn on your person to validate your wearing the weapon, but you may not change weapons without an emote of such a change. NO DUEL WEAPONS - NO SPEED HUD - NO JUMPING - NO OOC BITCHING FROM YOUR BUBBLE - PERIOD! Escaping may be done after 10 minutes of roleplay and 6 emotes. 3 lines to pick lock cage doors. RP is an acceptable form of entry into the underground stone doorways with 5 emotes with a min. of 10 words each. ROLE PLAY Panthers, Freewomen, slave girls etc... Just because Talunas are women, doesn't mean we will be buddies with you. In fact, be prpeared to be captured if you are just walking around the jungles. If you get captured, don't expect it to be pleasant it is RP and Taluna are fierce. Your LIMITS will be respected. Mountains, except waterfalls, CAN BE CLIMBED. Nothing here is sheer and life threatening as all would land you in the water. Role play limits will be respected unless they are violating sim rules. No Branding - No collars - No whipping - No torture ( except of course maiming) are standard RP actions in a Gorean sim. If your limits do not allow these, then this is not the sim for you. Please leave now. Death is for 48 hours. A killing can only occur after 60 minutes of RP ONLY WITH IC STORYLINE & LOGS THAT BACK UP IT's REASONING!! BC be prepared to show logs from contract that validate TRUE BC hiring and observation of your victims RP stalking or IC lead in for the kill per BC standards of RP. Black Caste... *DO NOT* report for killings to anyone prior to the killing but must wear a dagger mark. BC are secretive - dangerous and frightening. You are expected to play your role true to BC training & standards of Gor. We respect the caste but have logs available if asked for. RECAP ) The Kill Rules Do Not Apply for BC - Except the standards to the order of the Black Caste - Blacks should be 6 mths old and have had training in their caste- Read the books! This was a honor bound caste and with fear comes respect. They are cold mysterious and serious role players dedicated to their craft. KUR and TARN are allowed and RP must be exceptional and as real as one can make it. Please be assured that all RP will be reviewed if a problem occurs. NO CHEATING - No double hit eggs, no jumping. Shields, one-hit kicks, guns, speed huds, day walkers or any other scripted defense systems are to be used. No scripts can be used that may crash the sim. No long range swords (ie swords that throw a projectile that does

damage)! We watch for these and will warn ... then eject or ban. Talunas, by the books, used Bonga Balls. We have them and will use them and Blow Guns so expect it, We do NOT have lock picks - use your imagination and RP - this is Old School gor not GE w/ 3 mins on a door to open it while standing at a script. Please note - We do use traps and use role play to get out of them. 5 emotes, 10 words or more will free you. ANY traps here will harm any of the players in Tathassa and Ven Highlands PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BITCHING. Please note Taluna and Outlaw may be asleep in their rooms or sleeping births; i.e. most of us log in to SL at our home point and not via the TP and may 'wake up' in our home location in the middle of a raid or and appear in the camp in the middle of a raid. In the event this happens we deem it reasonable that a defender was in their home asleep and the noise of the raid woke them, they are in character and allowed to attack and be captured as part of the raid after 2 mins to rezz. We invite you and your group to add in or come on the raid as you are able to get them in as long as the enter through the TP at the market first No direct TP into the lands. If you are raiding either group with the specific intention to rescue a captive, please be prepared to have detailed RP proof of how you know where our captive is. We do recognize message birds, so either our captives bird informed you where they were going before they left, and you have logs to prove it, or someone saw our captive being taken down and reported this fact in role play to you. We will ask for proof, so just waltzing into the ruins, all tooled up for a rescue, and expecting to be taken seriously isnt good enough, unless you have in character knowledge that your friend is in our hands. Bottom line, Don't be a dick, and we can all have fun :) RP is key to all rescue and play here. be inventive but true to a RL situation. Think it through , imagine how you would act and paint a picture with your words that is clear, concise, and honorable to the Gorean RP.
