Hendrik Verwoerd (1901-1966) tait le prsident qui a introduit l'apartheid l'Afrique du Sud. Pendant l'apartheid, les blancs ont intentionnellement eu une meilleure ducation que les personnes noires. Hendrik Verwoerd (1901-1966) was the president who introduced apartheid into South Africa. During apartheid, the whites intentionally had a better education than black people. Le ''Soweto Uprising'' tait quand plusieurs lves de l'cole secondaire ont protest auprs de la loi qu'ils devait tudier en Afrikaans, une langue nouvelle pour eux. Pour rpondre cette protestation pacifique, le gouvernement a tu 600 personne et bless plus que mille. The Soweto Uprising was when several high-school students protested the law by which forced them to study in Afrikaans, a language that was new for them. In reply to this peaceful protest, the government killed 600 people and injured more than a thousand.

Nelson Mandela en Prison

Nelson Mandela a t mis en prison pour 27 ans en essayant de faire la paix entre les blancs et les noires. En 1990, FW De Klerk lui as enlev de prison. Nelson Mandela est devenu prsident et tous a chang. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years while trying to make peace between the white and black. In 1990, FW De Klerk removed him from prison. He became president and all changed.

Maintenant, lducation en Afrique du Sud est comme nous. Il ny a pas de racisme et tout le monde est gal. Now, education in South Africa is like here in Canada. There is no racism and everyone is equal.
