Efolio Assignment and Rubric

1. We have 5 units (not counting the review unit). You must have a total of 10 artifacts. 2. At the end of the semester, there should be 3 examples of you practicing the following skills in Spanish: reading, speaking, and listening. There should be 4 examples of your writing. Examples could be, but are not limited to: projects, charlas, presentations, journal entries, writing responses, reading out loud in class or at home, singing songs in Spanish, or formal writings. You can use things like cell phones, ipads, flip cams, digital voice recorders, and other devices to record the speaking and listening examples. 3. You must put the letter you wrote to me the 2nd day of class up as the very first item. This does not count as one of your 10 items. 4. Your items must be in PDF form (for docs) or embedded (for video and audio files). 5. For each item, you must write a paragraph in English connecting the activity and a Georgia Performance Standard. You must tell how and why the activity helped you learn, and why you chose the particular artifact. GET OUT YOUR RUBRICS FOR THE PORTFOLIO. NO I DONT HAVE ANYMORE, BUT THEY ARE ONLINE. ***Revisions**** Instead of having 10 items, you can have 8 items. 2 items need to be examples of you speaking, 2 of your writing, 2 of you listening, 2 of your reading. Examples for listening and speaking can be similar. For example, you could videotape yourself answering the midterm questions while a friend is asking you, and that could be an example of either reading OR writing. We will include the review unit as one of the 4 units we did. (We only finished four units and not six). You have today AND tomorrow in the computer lab to work on this. I will also try to secure a couple of days next week as well.
