120503 Comparative Literature 2DW Discussion Stay in present tense when referring to the literature No contractions No conversational tone

(its a formal paper!) Needs a descriptive/creative title (not just _____ Analysis or On ______) Proofread! No grammatical, spelling errors, etc. For next paper (4-5 pgs): do an outline!! - Figure out how many paragraphs you need in the number of page numbers you have to write (i.e. 1 paragraph per page) o Therefore, if 4 pages, 1 intro, 1 conc., and 6 bodies o 2 quotes per paragraph 12 quotes total - Brainstorm the themes and the quotes o Pair the quotes with the paragraphs o Figure out what connects these two quotes? (i.e. theme: past haunting the present; paragraphs: death of father, killed by Nazi; connection: subtheme helps you write the topic sentences)
