Revolution on January 1st, 1959. On July 26th, 1953 a group of brave young Cubans attacked the Moncada and the Carlos Manuel de Cspedes garrisons, symbols of the tyranny and occupation of Cuba under the U.S. puppet regime of Batista. Although the attack was defeated, it raised the banner of struggle, which would lead to the victory of the Cuban We celebrate the heroic resistance of the antiterrorist Cuban Five who are unjustly held in U.S. prisons while the Cuban nation is defending its socialist achievements through mass mobilizations for the implementation of the Economic and Social Policy Guidelines of the Party and of the Revolution.
