November 1999:A.P MOLLAR group parent co. of Mrsk line buys container shipper Sea-Land Corporation with 70 vessels, container terminals and liner service from the CSX Corporation. The new company is formed and named Mrsk Sealand. The agreed purchase price was US$800 million.
