Every year about this time I write a similar article. I always thank those who are currently serving in any capacity in our church and those who are rotating off positions. Then I have to do what I am going to do today. I have to remind you that there are still vacancies in various areas of service in our church. There are needs for Sunday School teachers and helpers. There are needs for nursery workers, ushers, and in other areas. Will you pray and ask God where He would have you to serve? We should never be in a position where a ministry stops for lack of leaders, but we are close to that now. Please see Therasa Hall, any member of the nominating committee, staff member or myself to learn where you can be used of God. WHAT'S UP I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our youth led service. It was an awesome service and we got to see our students heart's for Christ. WHATS NEW We are about to start up a couple of bible studies once again. The girls and boys will be split up. They are planning to start on July 10th. Please see Brian for more information. I would also like to thank Avery and Mary Lynn White for the use of their home and their pool on Wednesday for the youth ministry service. We had a great time at Southwind Plantation on Friday and Saturday. A great big "THANKS" to the Smith's for allowing us to use your facilities.
