A BEAUTIFUL PRACTICAL THOUGHT

PART II

In continuation to the previous thoughts / observations / experiences felt to jot down some more for the masses who by any reason miss out certain breath taking creations of The Creator. By this act of self-expression, may HE lead all towards the tranquil & serene life? Once being on a journey towards a shrine in the valley called paradise on earth, met some shepherds & with a casual introduction felt like one of them because of their sincerity, simplicity & open attitude, which is rare to be found in the cities of the entire world, while chit chatting with them was amazed to know the treasure of knowledge what they had about the nature, creators creation. The shrine as situated at a high mountain around 2000mtrs above mean sea level, the green grass, pine trees, fresh air, warmth of cattle around made the entire area so relaxing with the flow of purest fresh air. Based on knowledge about the shrine wanted to visit & pay my obeisance to the Holy Lord, was so little & half & with the help of those new friends was able to understand the real essence of that pious place of worship. The new friends were so simple that they observed & respected that shrine not like the real believers but as good humans having no strings attached what so ever of any cast, creed, religion, language, region. This fact was so natural &

Un biased just like the nature itself, which does not recognize any person with any difference but as its own entity. The shrine must be 2000yrs old & till date the sanctity of this shrine is on its best & sometimes wondered as to who must have been taking care of that place, & an immediate thought of those shepherds came in my mind & understood that there must have been so many generations of such people who must have been looking after this Holy place. All around the sanctum water flows from nowhere (probably oozing out from the soil around) without touching the Holy SHIV LINGA & all over were some furry type of worms all over the Linga in such a way that only three lines were visible & rest all was covered with these worms. After relating the entire experience of this journey to my Guruji, came to know that the shrine was established during the period of Kashyap rishi, & due to some

demonic activity he transformed all his pupils into these worms & from then on, they are still present. Wonder as to how these crawling creatures have survived for so long, & the answer was FAITH & TRUST on the SHIV LINGA on this materialistic world & soul-to-soul connection with the Supreme. Somehow, this very connection is not happening & that is why we all humans are undergoing so much of troubles. Why not at least try to start being connected with the shape first so that we start experiencing the sweetness of this connection. Later on as per ones determination one can start getting connected with the formless & one day shall come that the self shall get engrossed within the formless & then shall start the experience of real bliss. There are sure possibilities that those shepherds must have experienced the very bliss of the Creator that is why their faith was so real & lively that must have been passing on from one generation to the next until present day too. We mortals are so selfish, & require proof for anything they intend to do, why cant we just have undeterred faith & trust on ourselves that whatever we intend to do shall be so fruitful, healthy, & useful for all the humanity. Like shall change so much that we, one day shall start linking our souls towards the formless to have some meaning to live our lives happily without hate, jealousy, fights, wars, cast, creed, color, religion & so on, live like one with the nature as those shepherds live. Once on a trip to some of the beautiful European nations, which mostly have manmade castles, gardens, churches, streams, along with so beautiful, mesmerizing mountains full of greenery that one falls in love immediately with all the surroundings & sometimes a person feels to stay put as long as one wants to. But due to the differences (mainly created) created by us, we are asked to leave, in one way that is a good step towards conservation of the richness of those places, due to proper maintenance & caring they have been able to sustain what their forefathers left for them. The essence of all these places is enhanced by the population / inhabitants who (some) are just like those shepherds living in harmony with the nature & an attitude of living their lives to the fullest.

Like other nations, exceptions are there too, but the quality of life is given more preference than the quantity. As we, all know that a person has one destiny, & the self not being an exception too, was destined to come across some loving people just like those shepherds. The only difference was their way of living, as shepherds lived on the mountains wandering here & there, these nice & loving people lived within the boundaries of some mountains, in well-maintained & furnished homes, but with the warmth no less than those of shepherds. The understanding of each other, respect for each other was so visible, even most of them were concerned about their own daily schedules, but the bond of the inner connection was omnipresent. The best reason thought, was because of their undeterred faith, less population, care for nature, & above all the broad mindedness with a vision somewhat similar to their fore fathers.

Others who only talk about their faith, but do not act on that very faith are suffering, & nations in shambles. The very reason as mentioned may not be new to us but the attitude towards the way our world is moving is of some important concern to one & all. Becoming like a shepherd is not what is being asked for, but having the Faith of such shepherds, having such compassion, love, and respect for all like those shepherds is what shall bring all the humans a bit or more closely towards the real reasons of being born as humans. Someone a long time ago just quoted that how much The Creator must be worried & sad about the prevailing situation on His creation, & the answer was so abrupt how sad & worried you are that the person shut his eyes & mouth for some time & said.I never thought on these lines dear..!!! This is the attitude we all are carrying on our shoulders & thinking about The Creator, instead of taking steps towards restoration, preservation of the creators bounty.

As per Indian ancient science of architecture specific directions, colors decoration to enhance the place where we live, offer prayers, cook & so on, the science known as Vastu shastra means the science of architecture. As most of us know that, a specific place is allocated for the God of ones faith, along with our place of sleeping, eating, studies, etc, etc, & most of us have small portion of our available area kept especially for the Lord in any faith. In almost all the Indian Hindu Homes , a separate room is kept for puja or praying . This room is called the Puja Room and in this room, the deities and Gods Idols are kept.

Puja rooms are decorated with these idols in silver or chrome frames , with lots of flowers and miniature jewelry or simply idols are painted in beautiful colors and are made of clay . In addition to the idols, there are many items kept for worshipping in the puja room. Some for meditation also use the puja room. Even if there a space constraint in the house in any Indian Home, a small space, anywhere in the house is reserved to perform all kind of traditional rituals and puja. A typical Puja room is decorated with pure simplicity. However, in the ancient times, the puja room was not supposed to be kept inside the house except the Brahmins there used to be a separate place outside the house for the family God. Gradually, when the concept of nuclear families became more prevalent, each family wanted to have their own temple, and the Puja mandirs started finding space inside the houses. Most of the Puja rooms painted in earthy colors and have essentially a wooden door. It could be a grand one with ornamentation or a simple one with minimum ethnic touches depending upon the status of an individual. These days puja room is even made of white marble, silver, combination of wood and silver, depending upon individual choice and affordability to buy a particular temple. Traditionally Rangoli is put in front of the mandir, in mostly all the parts of India. According to the ancient Indian Science of Architecture called the VastuShastra, the ideal place for keeping the Puja Room is the Northeast. This direction is associated with prosperity, peace of mind, wealth and happiness. In addition, astrologically it is believed that the blessings from the Creator are omnipresent in this direction. But certain rules are very difficult to be adopted, as urbanization mini cities, metros, cosmopolitan cities have been taking place from the olden types of life styles.

Due to less space available, most of the people live in small, medium or large individual flats or homes constructed in high rise structures, where all the Vastu rules are somewhat difficult to adopt. Therefore, one need not be worried with that too, because this science has been so devised that if certain rules cannot be applied, other mediums of making that place a vastu reliant without changing much of the basic as well as interior structure. Normally, believers of Vastu Shastra decorate the Pooja room with lightweight idols or pictures. We get lovely miniature garlands in small colorful beads, pearls, or flowers made out of cloth. Puja room door small see-through sections where tiny brass bells are attached.

These bells produce beautiful melody when the door is opened or closed. In ancient Indian homes a separate place or a room was always designed in such a way that the Lords room is in the centre of ones home, Which mostly & widely was known as Bramha sthana, Or Place for the Lord, & shall always keep all the 10 forces or energies in an equilibrium, so that all the family members live a healthy & happy life together & learn form the very beginning the values of a combined family along with the duties towards their home deity.

There are some thumb rules, easier to remember & also to be followed before locating a piece of land for constructing a home, as well as while locating a flat, whichever may be the case, mainly the entrance of a house should be at the east (being the ideal) second best is from west & third is from the north.

One must avoid those places of residence where the main entry is from south, because of immense negative flow from this direction. If the entry of a home from the east to west begins with a narrow opening, this place has been found to be very auspicious because as per the belief that this positioning indicated the mouth of a cow, which is revered as a holy one. An area equal in length & breadth is mostly preferred because of the belief & scientifically all the external forces, are equally distributed in all directions to maintain the equilibrium within the home. Circular shapes be avoided fully. In a home, openings like doors, windows, ventilators should be in even numbers & normally doors are lesser in number than the windows. The inner floor of the house should always be kept higher than the outer level, so as to maintain positivity within the boundary of the house & a small barriers must be installed between the main internal floor level & the outer level So as to stop any negativity from entering the home. A well lit home with suggested colors on the walls as per all the ten directions if applied, a balance of energy flow is always in harmony with the law of nature & law of cosmic forces. Before getting, the interiors done a well informed designer or self must know about the persons going to live in that home, because each person is born with a different mindset, date, thereby the traits of your loved ones if kept under considerations shall prove to be very beneficial for the health & living of all the members. As per the belief, as old as the human world itself, God is one, whose absolute being, transcends time form as well as space, & a true enlightened one is who

The belief of immanent nature is the primal soul, Supreme, & who being the creator, preserver & destroyer of all that exist, except HIS sacred scriptures in the form of Vedas shall again show the path to a true seeker who with self discipline, dedication. Find the path towards immortalty through HIS sacred scriptures, before beginning any work, HIS blessings must be sought so as to complete whatever one has started, ends in the harmonious & happy way. The form is for those who do not practice meditation, & once they know that the truth is within them, then shall they leave the form & follow the formless, wherein the bondages of ignorance shall vanish & the essence commuted with. Due to ignorance & illusion the bond of a human becomes unseperatable, hence first acquire knowledge through which ones ignorance shall vanish as per ones knowledge acquiring abilities. Time again plays a very important role, as this time itself is the deciding factor as to how, when & where the seeker shall fulfill his / her quench of knowledge, after one is empowered with the knowledge & the urge to seek what is not seen through ones eyes but beyond. Once the seeker is ready to see the unseen, hear the unheard, experience the un experienced that shall be the time when one shall be one within the ONE. The grace, power, calmness, sparkling eyes of the enlightened with the forehead so vibrant that a mortal shall have difficulty looking straight on the face because of radiance just like the Sun. As per the belief again, the universe exists of three worlds, earth, where souls take on physical bodies as forms, the middle world, where souls take on astral bodily form & the Paramlok or the Absolute world, where the souls exist in their self effulgent form. Where there is no ignorance & no illusion except the ABSOLUTE. As per the Karma (Deed) theory one must reap the effects of all actions he / she has caused, later again take birth until all karmas (deeds) are resolved & liberation is attained.

In most of the religions, like Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam, Christianity, Taoism, & many more, all seek the ABSOLUTE & all humans irrespective of any religion, everyone has to go through the fruits of karmas (deeds) birth after birth. The creator is so compassionate that HE who generated all creatures shall call us back but only after one completes the Karmic cycle (the cycle of deeds) in the simplest words. The Supreme being, all pervasive, transcendent, creator, preserved destroyer, manifesting in various forms, worshipped all around the world in different forms & names, learning through their karmas (deeds) to be tolerant & knowing the souls divinity within the o be ONE immortal, shall unite at the end of this cycle. As mentioned about the seen & the unseen world, other divine beings & highly evolved souls do exist, with this thought, we all shall learn to be devoted, with the practice of attending a temple / a church / a mosque, worship, fire ceremonies sacraments other devotional open channels for understanding the essence of love, blessings, help, & the guidance from our Guru / masters. As per ones karmas (deeds) the divine law of cause & effect through which our deeds, thoughts, words rebound to us in this or in future life, through our deeds we need to learn to be compassionate. Because each action, good or otherwise, has been our own creation & the rewards shall be experienced with the free will, at every stage souls experience righteousness, wealth as well as pleasure in many ways in every birth. As the spiritual maturity grows, one shall learn to be fearless because without any exception all souls shall ultimately attain self realization, liberation from rebirths & finally unite with the Absolute. We have and shall learn that all the sacred scriptures were revealed by the God, containing the eternal truth & following the path of these scriptures we shall learn to be obedient to our Guru / master who is awakened, & through guidance of knowing the Absolute shall empower all of us on the spiritual progress & enlightenment.

The family we are born in should guide us in our daily worship, rituals, discipline in chanting mantras, religious studies along with other ecessential studies. One who is empowered with all the right teachings from the childhood, learn to be secure through this teaching in a home & outside, along with invoking love for all through this divine teaching prepares their mind for & in search of the higher realm. A birthright of a child is to learn the good conduct, home / temple worship knowing about his / her religion, values of the family through the teachings from ones parents. Later as we grow the same knowledge shall be persuaded with the self studies of the laws of nature, service to the family by supporting ones elders at the time of their need & otherwise so that our next generation too learns the true path of helping, service, obedience, communion with the Guru / masters for their own spiritual growth. As observed in todays society so many atrocities have been & are being done by so called modern / tech savvy age, wherein parents are thrown away from their own homes at old age. The reasons are quite evident, due to the family bond, values, right spiritual knowledge & respect for the community as a whole, people have become self centered & have no time for such important deeds, as they sow so shall they reap. Some of the beautiful & very relevant lines come to my mind, which somehow or the other are so very practical to follow without spending a dime, just need some patience & will to follow so that we along with others live in complete harmony. Make a little time each day for putting wrong things right, For breaking up the gloomy clouds & letting in the light Make the time for making friends & take some time each day for counting the blessings you have gathered on the way You will never see the sunshine if always drawn blind, you will never make new friends if chosen to close your heart & mind

You cannot expect the happiness coming your way, instead go, look for it from every point of view, have faith, love shall turn to poison unless it is strictly limited by moral considerations Remember death is inivetiable, a golden key which opens the gates of eternity, I am not a living legend, just a person in search of excellence, learnt from the knowledge & faith in the Absolute As is learnt from experience that love has million ways to please, but billion ways to rob us from We all know the value of gold, but in nature is cold & lifeless that cannot be brought or sold, neither see nor hear & when hungry cannot chew, then why go after it Having friends is a priceless gift chosen by us, cannot buy nor can you sell, value so immense like a mountain of gold Some say it has no ear to listen, no heart to understand, cannot bring you comforts or reach out a helping hand, go when you ask for a gift & be thankful if you receive..A friend. At times we are face to face with some easy & some difficult situations, if analysed properly & with the right attitude, all can have fun solving & enjoying both sides of a single coin. It is easy to get a place in a friends phone book, too difficult to have a place in his / her heart.phone book gets changed every now & then with new gadgets, but heart is never changedAcquire a small place now. As we all know it is easy to judge the mistakes of others, difficult to realize ours, do some soul searching before making that judgement because without thinking it is so easy to talk & very difficult to call back the shots. When in love we get hurt so easily but it is so difficult to heal that wound, forgiving others is easy but asking for forgiveness too difficult, like setting up rules

is easy for our rule makers & difficult for them to follow their own set rules, set rules keeping thyself as the subject. We all see so many dreams, some are remembered, some forgotten, not because we wanted that way, because it is easy to dream every night but so difficult to make that dream come true, what is liked in a dream we remember & the other way round, Dream to turn into a reality, at least put some efforts, self determination & thirst is a must. We receive with so ease & everyone likes to receive difficulty is in giving because one requires a pure conscious mind & soul to give, happiness becomes 100 folds by giving, like our parents gave us good education, good society to live in, good clothes to wear, Never said no to our demands when small or young, they did all this not merely because of their duty towards us but also to make us aware of the fact & results of giving. We become so happy to receive what was demanded, & now dont we think of giving back to our society, nation, parents, & all those from whom we loved receiving, as mentioned easy to receive & difficult to give chose a difficult path to receive the countless blessings, smiles from the hearts who once held our hand and made us learn the art of walking, held our hands so that we could get that grip on that pencil & now when we hold a parker, waterman, or a cross, we cant write a cheque of humbleness with love & give it to the same old ones. Think all dear ones that this universe gives us in abundance so that we have healthy & happy lives, in return, we give it chemical fumes, dangerous gases, plastic bags, inorganic waste, & the same universe, replied so nicely that we all got alarmed, formed disaster management squads, to deal with the natures reply, but our elders, teachers, guides, parents did not reply to our atrocities like our universe,

that is why no squad prepared for them, beware dear ones, still time to correct our mistakes into the blessings than the wrath of elders. Also remember that the counting starts from zero to nine, by addition, subtraction, multiplication, or by division, the numbers shall again end up with these two. Why not keep adding the blessings & keep them in multiple order by giving a helping hand to who so is in requirement besides our own near ones, help all without any discrimination, prosperity, happiness, love, compassion shall follow & change the ways for the best future our generation, present as well as future generations. Some many think it is very easy to say than practice, but if we all trust our past history, what the world did, had to be faced by all, when our ancestors left a legacy of rich heritage, cultural values, spiritual knowledge to guide us at rough times. Why not turn only those pages of the history, which can lead us towards the betterment for not a person, a nation, but for the entire humanity. Eternal life with God in heaven, with the perfect existence of Gods glory & bliss, one shall share; a personal life enjoyed differently by all of us according to the amount of blessings & grace achieved through Karma or deeds. As believed & experienced, the life passes through different phases, each phase, of happiness, suffering, learning, service, & spiritual knowledge cleans us like a cloth being washed in a washing machine. Soaking us, thumping us, swirling us, rotating us, & finally with this churning our body, soul, thoughts, become so clean that we start loving every creature, which is the governance of the Absolute for all mortals to again get all of us into the one Absolute. Some take lives together for that perfect churning, some like Nandkishwarji Lall ded Bhagwan Gopinath Ramakrishna paramhansa Swami vivekananda completed the journey from a mortal to the enlightened ones by holding the hand

of their Param Guru with self discipline, yoga, meditation, in one single life. (as we mortals are aware of) Why not use this life for the betterment of our inner selves, in persuet of that Absolute, instead of wasting our time in pity issues, fights, wars, just for some reason or the other. Drifting is the biological as well as a mental behavior of us humans, so some may find that at times the subject line may have drifted, for which shall ask all of you to apologise this mortal, but at times drifting from the main subject has been with a reason of not feeling fed of reading. A proclaimed, tried, tested, experienced tendency of all the creatures created by the ABSOLUTE, Because The Absolute makes us drift without being drifted..Acquire the blessings, follow the law of nature with spiritual knowledge & get enlightened to enlighten others..!!! In present form bow with respect to The Absolute. Shall continue to understand the nature & through my Guru master seek the blessings in this form to be of any help / service till last. As water flows from the mountain peaks along with other natural bounties, he who views these things as separate instead of one energy, like pure water poured into pure becomes the self as well as same. Absolute pure, so is the water flowing with creators other creations is as pure as HE himself, when one known the self, the inner self, shall enjoy like a honey bee engulfed & immersed with the sweetness of the flowers, so shall he / she be immersed in the senses of the Lord of what was & what shall be, then one shall have no fear near, & beyond & that will be the true union. The eternal journey from SHUNYA (zero) up to NINE (number) is full of all the mathematical terms & by solving each problem, we, one day will understand the power of numbers & the game play, wherein the Director being the Absolute SHIVA and rest of being the actor / actresses/ writer / music director / singer / hero like Shri RAM & villain the Ravana in Ramayan.

All shall play their role as per the set script, move as per HIS directions, take, retake, win some & lose some, in the entire process of this Film called Life, but at the end winner is the one who understands the reason of his part on this stage and get an Oscar in material world & MOKSH in spiritual life. We are free to choose our forms for the purpose of our worship, as all the paths lead to the ultimate God, actions of our mind are sins, not of the souls which always remains pure, there is no judgment day for God does not judge or punish. HE ever lovingly guides all souls back to Him. Personal inner and often mystical experience of God is the sum total of the religion, we shall & ultimately must know God during our role as humans on this stage called earth, individually oriented & introspective. Understanding the bottom line of this full play called Life, which exists in endless cycles of creation, preservation & destruction because there is no absolute end to this world, neither is a duality of God & worldbut a one Absolute union with the Creator. It shall be of great help to one & all to discover our own belief patterns, hence request to take a pen & put a check mark next to your beliefs, to begin self retrospection, in one colomn beliefs & next the reverse of it, write all what ever comes in your mind, experienced in life of learned from books, once a list is prepared go out for a nice evening walk, once back & fully fresh tick mark those points which you believe in & the remaining left out points you dont. Again take this simple test & the next day your mind shall guide you to those left out points as some of your beliefs too. Because, when we leave something untouched for a bit or long time our mind starts playing its own game on us, caught unaware by looking at the first test result & may be the last, you will surely have a clear picture as to what your beliefs are. Once the final result is freazed, work on those points with full dedication as we all have done in our management or other studies. Trust thyself the points freezed

shall become the benchmark of your further research in persuit of the spiritual achievements. You shall feel so contended, happy from within, radiant, energetic, ever smiling & making others feel the achievements of your step by step study of the self & self realization with nothing missing & being one with the Absolute. As mentioned earlier paths are many, one needs to choose the right type of a vehicle (not a racing car / or a bullokcart) but a strong & enlightened master / Guru (as a vehicle) because your success shall directly depend upon the speed at which the paddle of knowledge is pushed & reception by the wheel of your senses rotate. Take your time, grasp one at a time & ascend a step daily with pure consciousness & a time shall arrive that your sub consciousness shall awaken & guide you through the upper steps one at a time again. Your sub conscious can take many tests on you from within & by you, if this phase is passed, blessed shall be the one whose supra consciousness enlightens thyself. The retina is the part of the eye covered with receptors that respond to light. A small portion of the retina where the optic nerve connects to the brain has no receptors. An image that falls on this region will not be seen. Close your right eye. With your left eye, look at the L below. Slowly move your head closer or further away from the screen while looking at the L. The R will disappear when your head is approximately 50 cm (20 in) from the screen. You can repeat the experiment with your right eye by looking at the R.
