Existence. How does God exist?

\______________________________

Trinitarian Christianity says:

God is triune.
God is one.

Moses says:
Deuteronomy 6:4
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...6;&version=31;

Quote:

4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

God is one.

Jesus says:
Mark 12:29
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...0;&version=31;
Quote:

29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the
Lord is one.
God is one.

The scriptures say that God is one.

Trinitarian Christianity says that God is triune, but also one. Does this work?

Now, triune means 3 and one means 1.

Triune = 3

One = 1

3 = 1?

Oneness. How is God one?

\______________________________
G = God
J = Jesus
S = The Son = The Word
F = The Father
H = The Holy Spirit = The Holy Ghost
D = The Godhead

Trinitarian Christianity says that:

Jesus is God. [J = G]
The Son is God. [S = G]
The Father is God. [F = G]
The Holy Spirit is God. [H = G]
The Godhead is the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. [D = S + F + H]

Trinitarian Christianity says (in this forged verse):

1 John 5:7
Quote:

5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one.
The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one.

(See Comma Johanneum)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma_Johanneum

G=1
D=1

The Father is God. [F = G]

Therefore, F = 1.
The Son is God. [S = G]
Therefore, S = 1.
The Holy Spirit is God. [H = G]
Therefore, H = 1.

The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one.

F+S+H=D

OR

F+S+H=G

Therefore:
1 + 1 + 1 = 1?

Knowledge. How much does God know?

\______________________________

Who knows the exact date of the end times?

Mark 13:32
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...3;&version=31;
Quote:

32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the
Father.
The Son does not know. [S = 0]
The Father knows. [F = 1]

The Son is God. [S = G]

Therefore, G = 0
The Father is God [F = G]
Therefore, G = 1

G=0
G=1

0 = 1?

______________________________

Partitions. Is God plural?

\______________________________

The Godhead is one.

God is one.

D=1
G=1

Trinitarian Christianity says:

The Godhead is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Godhead is one.

D=F+S+H
OR

G=F+S+H

Therefore:

1=F+S+H

1 = 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3

From which we can derive:

F = 1/3
S = 1/3
H = 1/3

So that F + S + H = 1.

This works.

However,

Jesus says:
John 10:30
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...0;&version=31;
Quote:

30I and the Father are one.

Jesus and the Father are one.

Trinitarian Christianity says:

Jesus is God. [J = G]
Jesus is the Son. [J = S]
The Son is God. [S = G]
The Father is God. [F = G]

S+F=1

Therefore:
1/3 + 1/3 = 1?
