Introduction

This insight paper is all about the effects of Global Warming, Climate Change, and Greenhouse Effect in The world. This study is coming from the presentation of Michigan State University in the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism. It talks about what will go to happen to the world if the Global warming, Climate Change or Greenhouse effect will not be prevented. This study tells everyone what are the reasons why this effects in our environment happening. Jamal Spencer said; The scientist or the researcher cannot change the past, but finding the solution now can change ourfuture.

MELTDOWN highlights some of the major environmental issues facing our planet due to greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. MELTDOWN looks at the climatological consequences already taking place in the Arctic, Alaska, and boreal regions. The documentary looks at the effects of greenhouse gas emissions from industry, coal-fired power plants, deforestation and other contributing mechanisms. It takes a special interest in the burning of peat lands and carbon sinks due to increasing wildfires and their subsequent release of greenhouse gases and chemicals like mercury. It also focuses attention on deforestation and the need to address the issue from a political, economic, and social mindset.

Summary

Global Warming, Climate Change, and Greenhouse Effect are the reason why the world is changing. Our environment was affected by this, such as animals, plants and also humans. If this effect cannot be prevented, theres a great possibility that all creatures in the world will lost. Theres one problem called Meltdown where the frozen land was turning into wet land.

According to Nathaniel Ostrom, ph.d and Lee Cooper, ph.d. In the year 2049, a lot of changes in the world will happen. Like the frozen land in the Arctic Ocean will turn into wet land due to Global Warming and Climate Changes. This change is called Biological Changes and it is impossible to prevent.

This melting of the ice in the Arctic Ocean was happening because of global warming. Global Warming is one of the problems in the world. This makes the temperature warmer because the rays coming from the sun was directly entering inside the earth. The air pollution is the one problem that destroy the ozone layer that blocks and filter the ultra violet rays coming from the sun. Thats why the ice in arctic was easily melted. According to publish report. Arctic average temperature has risen at almost twice the rate as the rest of the world in the past few decades.

The researcher was discovered the inclined water creatures in the Northern Bering Sea and the primary suspect are the Climate Change.

According to Merritt Turetsky ph.d. Plant Environmentalist of Michigan State University. plants and animals are affected also by climate change and global warming also. The other plants are dried and the other animals were died. And also some area are forming a sinkhole. As the water warm, and the state of matter changes, frozen land become wet land, and wet land become dry land. Turetsky said.

One of the causes that affect the environment is the greenhouse gas emission. It comes from the smoke of the fire releasing greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases carbon monoxide.

Mercury is the one of the important elements in the world. But it may turn into air product due of global warming. This will affect the plants because when the mercury turns to air product or gases it become poisonous. Therefore, when it consume by the plants, the plants will died. And it also leads to deforestation were the trees in the forest will lost.

Global Warming, Climate change, Greenhouse Effect, shrinking lakes, rising oceans and melting ice may change not only the plants, animals and weather, but also the jobs, business and also the farming.

Reaction

After I watched the video presented by the students of Michigan State University. I felt something unexplainable. Maybe it is fear, fear because of the things happening in the earth and fear for what will happen for the future. I realize that many was affected by global warming, climate change, greenhouse effect. Many living things in our environment are suffered from this problem like, plants, animals and humans. If this will not be prevented, what will happen to our mother earth, environment? And if this problem will not prevented, the earth will be erased in the universe and the living things and non-living things will be gone. IV. Insights The video have shown the future environment of the world and the things that will happen if the global warming continuously surround in our environment and the things that will happen if it is cannot be prevented. This video has shown the melting ice in the Arctic Ocean and it will totally turn to wet land in the year of 2049. And also, the Burning Forest was included, the inclined sea creatures, greenhouse gas emission and the effect of the mercury if it turns to air product or gas.

All of this was present by the student of Michigan State university in the Knight Center for Environmental journalism in order for the many to know the effect of this common problem in the environment and in the world. This objective of this video is to inform everyone about the things that will happen in the environment if the global warming will not be prevented. The purpose of this video is to encourage everyone to take care the environment by segregating the , to give worth of it. To give worth in our Environment as a student, may help the world a little bit to fight the Global Warming, Greenhouse Effect, Climate Change and other problem that existing in our environment.

(The pictures shown above composed three problems in the environment there are; Gas emission, Global Warming, Burning forest and lastly the melting frozen land.)
