From: Joanna To: Bielat for Congress Campaign Staff Subject: Internal Poll from MA-04 Republican Primary CC: Sean As many of you know, we ran a poll on Wednesday night, July 25, and here is the data. As we expected, he leads the field for Republicans in MA-04 with 60% of support among likely GOP primary voters. This is obviously great news for Sean and the team.

The poll was conducted among those who voted in the 2010 Republican primary, and the results were even better than we anticipated. While we are not publicly releasing details of the poll, please use this information to respond to questions regarding Seans primary challengers. If requested, we can release the data. Details: The poll was conducted by Precision Polling. Calls were made to 14,245 likely Republican voters on the evening of July 25 with 1,202 completed calls. Depending on how the caller responded, there were 4-7 questions, which are attached. This poll is consistent with other data that we have been tracking, namely that Sean is ahead on every front: fundraising, phone banking, and social media.

Phone banking Through the hard work of our incredible volunteers, we have made approximately 30,000 calls to likely primary voters: Completed scripts: 2,332 Planning to vote for: Bielat: 1,302 (55.8%) Childs: 5 (0.2%) Steinhof: 4 (0.2%) Undecided: 1021 (43.8%) (Yes, those Steinhof and Childs numbers are correct!) Fundraising Based on FEC reports from Q2, we have a significant fundraising advantage: Bielat: $418,407 raised; $165,265 COH Childs: $141,500 raised; $26,204 COH Steinhof: $20,486 raised; $5,445 COH Social Media Thanks to our Comms team, we have a strong presence on Facebook and Twitter. There will also be some new online activities rolling out in the next few days.
