Below are the instructions for the day, schedule, Beach Cricket rules, a map of the venue & registration form.
WHAT TO BRING: A full drink bottle (SACA will supply some water with cups) The attached signed registration form if havent registered online Sunscreen (SACA will have extra available)
WHAT TO WEAR: Matching coloured uniform (if possible) Board shorts/ comfortable shorts Bucket hat will be supplied by SACA in participant pack

Games will last 30 minutes 6 players per side 6 overs per innings 6 balls per over Soft balls will be used No re-bowls (for wides and no-balls) You must attempt to bowl overarm at least once if you are unable to, then underarm is fine Wides and no balls will be worth 2 runs each A no-ball: is a ball bowled above waist height on the full; a ball that bounces more than once; and for the bowler over-stepping the crease during delivery No LBWs A ball that passes the boundary after bouncing will be 4 runs, balls that are hit over the boundary on the full will be 6 runs Each wicket taken by the fielding side will add 5 runs to their final batting score Only one batsmen will bat at a time When running between wickets, batsmen must run up and back to score 1 run Batsmen can be run out at either end Each player will bowl one over and bat for one over There must be a bowler, a wicket-keeper and 4 fielders at all times There must be 2 fielders on the off-side and 2 on the leg-side before each ball is bowled One-hand-one-bounce: This rule will be in play, but with the following exceptions: If you are able to catch it on the full then you must make an attempt this will be determined by the umpire If you try to catch it one-hand-one-bounce then it must be a clean catch no juggling or holding it against your body Wicket-keepers are not allowed one hand one bounce

If the participant is not 18 years or over, a Parent / Guardian of the participant must sign and indicate that they have read and understood the Beach Cricket Acknowledgement, which can be found on SACA Website www.cricketsa.com.au This includes the Privacy Statement, Talent Release Statement, the Indemnity and Release Declaration and the General Conditions Please note that all participants that register for the Beach Cricket Competition are covered under the Cricket Australia National Club Risk Protection Program.
