Active Duty Kabul, Afghanistan, 2004-05 Task Force Phoenix III While in Afghanistan I worked as a medic in both treatment and ambulance platoons. My unit provided level II care to American soldiers and local nationals. Was command selected to serve as an Infantry line medic at Forward Operating Base Gardez, Afghanistan and was the first female first female in the 76th Brigade to do so. While in Gardez I provided level I care for approximately 400 U.S soldiers as well as our local national interpreters in addition to participating in daily combat operation patrols. Was part of a team that trained a unit of ANA soldiers on combat medical skills with a %100 pass rate. Balad, Iraq, 2009-10 Phipps TMC, Joint Base Balad During the first half of my tour I worked as a Medical Sergeant at Phipps TMC a level II military treatment facility. My duties included acting as the shift leader responsible for monitoring patient care, facilitating patient administration and ensuring quality and continuity of care. In addition ensuring the clinic medical supplies are stocked and orders for additional supplies placed in a timely manner. In addition to my duties as a Medical Sergeant I was in charge of developing the companies physical fitness program. My duties required me to plan and implement a monthly physical fitness test as well as mentoring Soldiers on improving their level of fitness. Command selected to train as a U.S. Army Certified instructor at Jameson Combat Medical Training Center, where I was later tasked to train soldiers on emergency medical technician basic (EMT-B) skill 2 of 3

level, combat lifesaver and basic life support. I am the primary instructor for the EMT-B refresher course. I am responsible for 15-20 soldiers, curriculum planning, instructing classes, and administration of test and practical examinations. Civilian Experience Meijer Stores ltd. Retail Manger/Team Leader, 1999-2005 I consistently demonstrated attention to detail, exemplary customer service, efficient organizational skills and an ability to lead others. After only 3 months with the company I was promoted to Team Leader. As a Team Leader I supervised and trained 6-10 Team Members. Responsibilities included scheduling, training, inventory control of incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining stock on the sales floor, merchandising and customer service. Each department I managed experienced increases in sales as well as overall customer satisfaction. Myself and several members of my team and achieved All-Star customer service status. Advanis Marketing/Customer Service Evaluation, 2008-2009 Advanis is a Canada-based market research and consultancy firm that provides marketing solutions for corporations; it centers on applied statistical tools which allow methodical and in-depth analysis of the structure and changes in the market and target audiences, this allows Advanis to create a marketing strategy for their customers. While employed with Advanis I conducted field research in the form of mystery shopping stores, which were clients of Advanis; in doing so providing feedback for various aspects of the clients operation. Areas I evaluated were customer service, employee product knowledge, product availability, merchandise placement, pricing and cleanliness of the store and its employees.
