EXCERPTS FROM THE SPIRITUAL DIARY OF ELIZABETH KINDELMANN

Together with the Gospels and the teaching of the Catholic Church, the Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann constitutes the third pillar on which rests the spirituality of the Movement of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Diary was written by Elizabeth Kindelmann, a humble woman who lived in Hungary from 1913 to 1985. It is well known that the Catholic Church in this country faced persecution for many years. The Diary succeeded in arriving to the West in the hands of a Hungarian nun, Sister Anna Roth. By taking heed of the urgency of the message of the Most Blessed Virgin, which forms the principal content of the Diary, Sister Roth published the most important texts in a booklet of 16, then of 60 pages, which were translated into several languages and reached a large diffusion. The integral Diary was published in Hungarian in 1985, in Germany. It starts with the description of a terrible 'obscure night'. Through the intermediary of the Most Blessed Virgin, the divine light returns, and Elizabeth starts to hear the voice of Our Lord Jesus-Christ and the Virgin Mary in the form of interior locutions. She clearly perceived their words in her heart. The Diary does not only contain high spiritual reflections, but also a significant message and an initiative of grace of farreaching importance from the Most Blessed Virgin which could perhaps be summarized as follows: Satan intensifies to the maximum his efforts to destroy souls. Facing him, his eternal adversary, the Blessed Virgin Mary. We know that 'where sin abounds, grace abounds even more' (Roman 5, 20). She obtained from the Eternal Father, by the merits of the Passion of Her Divine Son, a great outpouring of grace like there has never been since the Word of God was incarnated (these words are those of our Blessed Mother). She will blind Satan by the Flame of light and grace which spouts out of Her Immaculate Heart. This Flame must ignite all the hearts, even of those who do not belong to the Catholic Church. She tells us what we must do to collaborate with her in this work. Our Blessed Mother cries, begs, prays, and asks us for prayers, sacrifices, holy hours in the family, fasts, in order to help Her in this fight against the evil one. The Spiritual Diary was translated from its original language, Hungarian, to Spanish by Father Gabriel Rna, S.J., who resides in Budapest, Hungary. He resided in Ecuador for thirty years. It is at that time that he providentially received the writings of Elizabeth Kindelmann: a celestial message which speaks about the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Father Rna devoted himself to the task of translating these writings from Hungarian into Spanish between the years 1985 and 1989. On June 6, 2009, Cardinal Peter Erd gave his Imprimatur number 494-4/2009 to the original Hungarian Spiritual Diary authorizing the publication of the messages given by the Lord Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary to Elizabeth Kindelmann. The preface of the book was written by Cardinal Bernardino Echeverra Ruiz. Several letters of approval and encouragement from different bishops are published at the beginning of the Diary. Below are some extracts of the Spiritual Diary: The Lord Jesus: "No soul that I entrusted to the care of my priests should know damnation. This word, damnation, causes a terrible pain to My Heart. I would again suffer death on the Cross for every soul, even if I had to suffer one thousand

times more, because for the damned there is no more hope. Prevent that! By your burning desires, save the souls! You know, just as there are three forms of baptism: the baptism of water, blood and desire, it is the same for the salvation of souls. From My Sacred Heart also, blood and water spouted out on you, and the powerful desire with which I did it for you. Do you know what desire is? It is a marvelous and delicate instrument within the range even of the most humble man, who can use it like a miraculous instrument to save souls. What is important is that he unites his desire with My Precious Blood which emanates from My side. Increase your desires with all your strength, My little one, because that saves many souls!" The Lord Jesus: "What I will say to you now, My daughter, is not only for you, communicate it to My beloved children: assimilate the essence of My following words with the thoughts of your heart. You must shake the lukewarm souls from the nonchalance into which they were plunged. First of all, make them aware of the fact that they are called to live in an intimate union with Me. Communicate this particularly to the souls who, although they frequently receive Me in their heart, do not come closer to Me. It is in vain that I want to bring them to a greater spiritual depth if they turn their backs on Me and abandon Me. Deep in your heart, you do not even think of Me amidst your daily tasks. That makes Me suffer so much! When you say: "Lord, I am not worthy that You enter my house" , do not turn your back to Me, but become worthy, dispose your hearts for a continual union with Me. Do it also during the day, by a fervent invocation or a loving glance. What burning desires I have for you! Those who come to Me are so few! At least, may they come with a true spirit of abandonment and recollection. Wake up the trust in Me in your hearts. What hurts Me the most, is that you do not trust Me. It is in vain that you have faith, without confidence you cannot draw closer to Me. Ask My sons to arouse courage in the souls. Tell them how much the ones who fight are dear to Me. May the souls never give up, because the ceaseless fight increases in you My graces. Send them to My gentle Mother. My little one, desire for Me many souls. This is the objective of your life, never lose sight of it. This is why I dragged you away from the world, this is why I chose you, I delight that you, at least, have pity on Me, understand Me, and in My immense pain, console Me." The Virgin Mary: "My daughter, I am providing you with so powerful a grace: the burning Flame of Love from My Heart, that has never before been offered as it is now. Ever since the Word became Flesh, I have not undertaken a greater movement than the Flame of Love from My Heart who rushes to you. Till now, nothing could blind Satan as much. And it is up to you not to reject it, for this rejection would simply spell disaster." The Virgin Mary: "Hurry up, My little one! The moment when My Flame of Love will ignite is close, and at this time, Satan will be blinded. I want you to feel it in order to increase your confidence. This will give you a great force. All those to whom this force will arrive will feel it. Because it will ignite not only in the nations which are consecrated to Me but all around the Earth, and it will propagate in the whole world, even in the most inaccessible places, because for Satan there are no inaccessible places." The Virgin Mary: "You have to make an effort! I need you all! You must do all you can to blind Satan! I need all of you, each one in particular and all together! Do not tolerate any delay, for Satan is blinded to the extent that you participate. The responsibility is great. But our work will not be in vain. If the whole world is united with Me, the soft light of My Flame of Love will then burn and set the entire earth ablaze. Satan will be humiliated and made unable to continue using his power. But you must not postpone this time of preparation, no, do not prolong it! Do not get into the habit of adopting an attitude of wait in regards to My holy supplication!"
