How to import Acad File in 3D Max? Step No: 01
PURGE COMMAND
Before applying the PURGE Command, make it sure that your object/structure must be transferred in proper layers. Step No: 02 1. Then Type PN and press ENTER 2. Click Purge All 3. Click Yes to all NOTE: Repeat PURGE command until the Purge All button disappear One thing more should also be noted that the all the layers Line Weight must be standardized to 0.00 mm Now after saving the Acad file, run 3D Max and import this very file in there.
TO SELECT OBJECT
1. Press H 2. Select layer 3. Press M 4. Select sphere/box 5. Click Standard button and double click Architectural 6. Click User Define roll out under Templates 7. Select Masonry 8. Click NONE against Diffuse Map under physical qualities 9. Click Assign material to selection 10. Click Show map in view Port 11. Click Close button (Cross button), Material Editor 12. Select Perspective window 13. Click Rendering 14. Click Render OR press F10 (For quick render press F9) 15. Click OK
RENDERING ENVIRONMENT
1. Click Rendering 2. Click Render Environment OR press 8 3. Click NONE under view map 4. Double click Bitmap 5. Location/Select/Ok/Render View

TREES
1. Click 2. Click 3. Select AEC Extended from Standard Primitives roll out 4. Click Foliage 5. Select type of tree and click the base point

3. Select Doors/Windows from Standard primitives roll out 4. Click type of Door/Window 5. Specify base point in PV and drag your mouse in two directions (x or y & z) 6. Select Door (Created) and click Modify Tab 7. ENT/Type H/D/W of door 8. Activate Top View 9. Type Zero against Z at bottom 10. Adjust location of the door, using Top/Front/PV and move command
GROUND
1. Click Create 2. Click Geometry 3. Select Standard Primitives 4. Click Box 5. Draw rectangle in Top View
TO COPY OBJECT
1. Select object and click right button of mouse

Click CLONE
3. Check Copy 4. OK
LIGHTENING EFFECTS
1. Click
2. Select Mr Sun and Omne light and then place/adjust to get the best optimum result.
Now change the Opacity Level (Entering smaller value will result the greater transparency)
**Now if you want to give the texture in the transparent form, click Map Button and click NONE and select any material (like Tiles etc) & then assign that very material/Texture
TILES
1. Press M 2. Click unused sphere 3. Double Click Architectural 4. Type Wall Tile (As material name) 5. Select Masonry under template roll out 6. Click NONE against Diffuse Map under Physical Quantities and select tiles 7. Under Standard Controls select Running Bond against Present Type roll out 8. Click NONE against texture in Tile Setup under Advanced Controls 9. Select Noise 10. In Grout Setup, against texture you can change the color of grout SYED SAQIB MEHBOOB (06-CE-50)
11. Click Color #1 under Noise Parameters 12. Assign & view 13. Select MAPSCALER from Modify list 14. Now under Parameters, change scale as desired
ANIMATION
1. Click Top View 2. Click create and then Geometry 3. Place/Adjust/move camera 4. Click Set-Key / button having symbol of Key / Auto-Key 5. Click Next Frame Tab for 5 to 6 times 6. Move/Adjust/Record animation 7. Click Perspective View, press C and click play
