Funding
Al-Wariseen relies on the generosity of private individuals and corporations for contributions to fund our activities and distribute the funds to those who are in need. The starting capital for Al-Wariseen is RM3,000,000 being a donation from KIC Oil & Gas Group of Companies. The Board of Trustees is entrusted to bring Al-Wariseen and its activities into prominence and to receive and administer the contribution from those who believe and share the objectives of AlWariseen. The dissemination of information on Al-Wariseen and its activities will be done in private functions and through private meetings with potential contributors who understand the spirit of Al-Wariseen and would like to share the benefits from its cause in this world dunia and hereafter akhirat. From the RM3,000,000 seed funding, approximately RM200,000 has been expended towards the preparation of a corporate office for Al Wariseen to operate. It is envisaged that to properly and comfortably run the activities of Al-Wariseen including its operational expenditure, a minimum of RM10 million is required annually. Al Wariseen has already obtained the support letter from the Minister in the Prime Ministers Department for its tax exemption application. Currently Al Wariseen is in the process of applying for tax exemption from the Inland Revenue Board on the contribution made by private individuals and corporations.
