2010 Present Ph.D Postgraduate research student - Research projects co-supervised by OCN (NUS), FW (NUS) and SRT (MIT) - Uncovered novel lung metabolism changes in experimental asthma via metabolomics - Capable with metabolomics pathway analysis, combining LC/MS and GC/MS - Investigated anti-oxidative effects of artesunate in murine asthma model - Competent in biochemical assays of oxidative stress biomarkers and antioxidants - Developed clinically relevant asthma models using House Dust Mite (HDM) - Involved in collaborative research projects with MIT and Imperial College 2008 2009 Honours student in A/P Fred Wongs Lab, NUS, Dept of Pharmacology - Investigated therapeutic properties of anti-malarial drugs in murine asthma model - Particular drug use (artesunate) in asthma has been patented based on findings - Competent in murine models of allergy (mice) and pharmacological interventions - Trained in biomolecular techniques, such as PCR, ELISA and Western Blot
