DEFENSE 2-4-1 LINE UP When to Use: this defense works well when the offense is spread out, throwing short passes, and running a lot.

The rushers should rush outside in and keep the quarter back in the middle of the field. The corner backs do not let anyone get behind them in their zone, as they are responsible for the deep routes along with the safety.

DEFENSE 2-3-2 LINE UP When to Use: this defense works well when the offense is throwing deeper routes and is not running the ball often.
