BEER OLYMPICS

Rules/Regulations

Consumption of alcohol is optional, if you do so do so responsibly Sunshine Park is not held liable for any injury, illness, or consequences arising from participating in beer Olympic events. 3. Must be 19 + to participate; Teams must provide valid photo ID confirming you are 19+ years of age (legal drinking age) in order to participate in events and fill out Team Liability Waiver 4. Must provide your own beer 5. Team must consist of 4-5 people; the order each team will play in will be randomly selected. If 5 people are on a team, 1 member will be able to substitute in for other team members during full team (4 person) events. Each team must have a team captain Each team must have uniforms of sorts Each team must have a team name 6. If a player vomits they are automatically disqualified from that event, however they are still qualified to play in the following events. 7. Team registration will be: Up until Thursday, August 25th at 11:59 pm If there is still space available after this point, we will allow other teams to register once they are already campers at Sunshine Park If the spots fill up prior to this time better luck signing up next year! 8. Each team must bring a minimum 5 non-perishable food items to register. Extra points will be awarded to teams that contribute more! Extra points Food items (2 pts each); Toiletries (5 pts each); Clothes (10 pts each) Each team will have their own box of contributions other campers can help their favourite team out by donating items on their behalf. 9. Other teammates that are not participating in the events are encouraged to cheer their team members on! 10. If other team members interfere with events that the entire team is not participating in, team will be disqualified. 11. Needed: 2 Players No Beer Required

Table set up with 4 ice cub trays, each filled with beer Each player will be equipped with one straw and on the whistle GO! First player must consume all beer in his/her ice cube tray before the second player can proceed must ALL be drank through the straw! Timed event (2 randomized tries) Winner: Best time (best of each try used) Run Obstacle course! One player runs the course and tags partner at finish line and the second player begins course o If player starts before previous player has crossed the line, the quick starter will need to go back to the starting point, cross the line and restart Timed Event Winner: Best time Take a shot of beer every minute for 30 minutes First player starts first shot at 30 sec, and will take second at 1 min 30 sec, third at 2 mins 30 sec and so on.. Second player starts first shot at 1 min, second 2 min, third at 3 mins and so on Summary: One player is taking shots at the 30 second marker and the other is at the 1 minute marker alternating at the sound of the beep RULE: No fluids out! Completion = 100 pts o 0 pts if out before 15 mins o 50 pts if out after 15 mins, before 30 mins REDEMPTION: IF one partner is unable to complete and is out before 30 minutes the second player can do TWO shots/min and finish his partners shots to complete the event To measure team skill and accuracy in tossing a standard can into a trash can while in the reclining position Two team members:

FLIP CUP
Needed: 4 Players 4 Beers

ANCHORMAN
Needed: 4 Players ~8 Beers

o FEEDER: stationed behind chair handing cans to the chucker o CHUCKER: sits reclined in the chair and tosses the can into bin Teams receive cans as is but can manipulate cans however they deem fit Shoulders must not come off the back of the chair Feeder + Chucker may switch positions at the end of rounds, but no other substitutions are permitted Feeder can only hand one can at a time Timed Event Winner: Best time (of 3) o 3 Rounds: 30 second rounds Each team has 4 cups filled 1/3 each (equivalent to 2 beers 1 beer/3 cups) o Refs will check prior to team starting to ensure each cup have equal beer in it Opposing players start by taping each others cups and then drink Next person cannot begin until previous person has flipped the cup over Player places his cup RIGHT SIDE UP on the edge of the table and tries to flip it, landing UPSIDE DOWN All beer must be drank from cup or disqualification may occur Timed event Winner: Best time A pitcher is filled to the line with beer by each team Each player drinks as much as they can out of the pitcher before passing it to their team mate The last person (ANCHOR) to chug has to finish ANY remaining beer time stopped when last player finishes Timed Event Winner: Best time RULES: If player touches opponents pitcher during play a 5 second penalty will be added to the teams final time If a substantial amount of beer is spilled a 5 second penalty will be added to the teams final time

BEER PONG
Needed: 2 Players 2 Beers

Each team will have 6 cups filled 1/3 way each (2 beers total) in a bowling pin formation Each team gets 2 ping pongs and a rinse cup with water Each player gets to throw the ball once during a turn, cannot bounce the ball If shooter makes the cups, the other team drinks the cup

BEST COSTUME

RULES: NO death cup (2 balls in one cup) NO elbows over edge of table when shooting, shot will not count if this is done NO slapping ball away or interference with other teams shot, bounce or no bounce ALL distractions made must be done behind the cups (no covering the cups or shot will be redone) If any rules are broken shot will be redone Each team is allowed one realignment on their possession only Teams will be ranked based on costumes originality and follow through Teams ranked from BEST WORST and Scored 1st 4th Bonus points for TEAM CHEER

TIE BREAKER RULES


In the event of a tie breaker, one teammate will be chosen from each of the tied teams Players will battle it out to see who can shotgun a beer the fastest; first to finish gets 1st, second gets 2nd

BEER OLYMPICS CHAMPIONSHIP


Overall winners will have their team name and year engraved on our Beer Olympics Trophy as the Beer Olympic Champions ULTIMATE Beer Olympic Champions o This year we have added a STAFF team consisting of 4 Sunshine Park staff members o If the campers beat the staff they will receive miniature trophies as the ULTIMATE Beer Olympic Champions o If the staff beat the campers they will receive the title as ULTIMATE Beer Olympic Champions There will be prizes for each individual event for the individual event champions
