The Bateaux Parisiens cruise is a relaxing hour of our f discovery along the water right in the heart of the French capital.
I enjoyed the audio guide commentary on every one of the monuments we saw sailing alongside riverbanks that are included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The view is crystal clear in summer and winter! I bought priority tickets from the tourist information booth to make sure I would enjoy the visit to the full. This cruise was just as much fun this time as it was when I was 5 years old !

The candlelit visit to Vaux le Vicomte made me feel like I was travelling through time, into history.
The unique architectural setting, lit by two thousand shimmering candles, is brought out to perfection, recalling the atmosphere of years gone by. Beneath the night sky, the chteau created a soothing mood with an incredibly romantic feel to it. I especially enjoyed the glass of champagne in the formal gardens.
